Extended Data Table 2 Coherence properties of the system

From: Entanglement of bosonic modes through an engineered exchange interaction

  1. The device exhibits some fluctuations in its coherence times, but typical measured values for the relaxation (T1), dephasing (T2 and T2e), and equilibrium excited state fraction (Pe) are given for each element in the system, when applicable. The coherence properties of Alice and Bob during the time of this experiment are inferior compared to those of the same device several thermal cycles ago (T1 ≈ 1 ms). This is probably a result of the degradation of its surface quality (through oxidation and thermal expansion/contraction cycles). We believe that the quality factors can be improved by chemically treating the surface of the cavities.
