Centre lines of box plots represent the median, bounds of boxes indicate the lower and upper quartiles, whiskers extend to points that lie within 1.5× interquartile range of the lower and upper quartiles. Sample size for the published data is 205 genomes and for GVMAGs is 2,074 genomes.
