Blood samples were collected at circadian times (CT) 2 and 14 (inactive and active phase, respectively) from mice housed under free-running conditions (ad libitum access to food) or TRF (21st day, immediately before food access). Total ghrelin, insulin, leptin and glucose levels (ng ml−1) were measured for all samples. Data are mean ± s.e.m. (n = 13 mice for each genotype). *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, two-tailed Tukey’s test.
