Interaction outcomes were evaluated by simulation; letters indicate species that persisted in the model (S = S. arvensis; B = B. arvensis; P = P. rhoeas; C = C. cyanus; N = N. arvensis). Direct comparison between the magnitudes of the structural analogs of the niche and fitness differences are not possible with these particular metrics26.
