Extended Data Table 1 Characteristics of the isobaric β-decay chains

From: Observation of the radiative decay of the 229Th nuclear clock isomer

  1. The A = 229, A = 230 and A = 231β-decay chains used in this study are listed. *Value is taken from32. Value(s) are taken from42. Absolute γ-ray intensity per β decay is given. §The uncertainty on the production rate is estimated at 20%, the implantation-to-implantation variation of the beam intensity rises up to a factor of 3. γ-ray intensities from 229Ra are not known from literature, the production rate therefore is determined using 229Ac γ rays observed after the decay of 229Ra. #The lower limit is deduced from the time evolution of the 569 keV γ ray in the decay of 229Ac. No uncertainties are given in the database.
