The model is trained on 125 HCP individuals to find the optimal value of the parameter rs (in mm). Optimization performance compares data and model FC based on the following metrics: edge FC correlation, node FC correlation and FCD KS statistic. Higher edge FC correlation, higher node FC correlation and lower FCD KS statistic correspond to better model fit. We take rs = 28.9 mm as the optimal parameter as it leads to the minimum FCD KS statistic value.
