  1. &Mean RE values are expressed as the 15-years average for each of the Natural, AANE and AANE+ANT configurations during a specific time period, while the uncertainty is computed as half of the difference between the maximum and minimum RE obtained for a complete set of model sensitivities (expressed as mean ± range/2) during each period of time (see Supplementary Information for further details). The uncertainty range for the total gases, aerosols and gases+aerosols columns are computed as the sum of the individual uncertainty of all species in each group.
