The solid black line shows the resonance line obtained from the data evaluation (see section ‘Data analysis’). The coloured dots show exemplary binned data, with different incident energy bin sizes and shifts of the bin grid. The spectral width of 1.32(12) eV reflects the spectral width of the incoming XFEL radiation.
