  1. Specific values and sizes for the resistors, capacitors, transistors, and pressure sources used in the circuit schematics are provided. Resistors may be integrated on-chip using a serpentine channel (denoted “Channel”) with a rectangular cross-section, or incorporated into the tubing that leads to the chip ports (denoted “Tube”) with a circular cross-section. Resistances were calculated under laminar flow conditions using the Poiseuille equation47. 1 ml syringes filled with a fixed volume of air were used as capacitors to atmosphere. Fluidic capacitances were calculated using Boyle’s law. For more information, please see the Methods section.
