Extended Data Table 1 Molecule-to-molecule variations of the resonance frequencies

From: Single-molecule electron spin resonance by means of atomic force microscopy

  1. List of the TX–TY and TX–TZ transition frequencies for 11 different individual molecules, showing small but appreciable molecule-to-molecule variations. We attribute these small differences to variations of the local environment. For example, the data hint to correlations between the observed differences in resonance frequencies and the existence of nearby step edges of NaCl, which is subject to further investigations. For data acquisition, two different tips were used as indicated, of which one was terminated with a CO molecule. Note that the atomic structure of the tip apex was not altered between the different datasets corresponding to the same tip.
