Whole-cell recordings of Spp1+ and Spp1- RuSNs showed no significant difference in action potential a, threshold, b, peak, c, amplitude, or d, fast afterhyperpolarization (fAHP). ns = not significant (p value > 0.05, Mann-Whitney, two-sided, 28 Spp1+ and 32 Spp1- cells). Number of cells and statistical tests are summarized in Supplementary Table 13. The centre line of the box and whisker plots depicts the median value (50th percentile) while the box contains the 25th to 75th percentiles; the whiskers correspond to the 5th and 95th percentiles. Representative (e, f) traces and (g, h) action potentials of Spp1+ and Spp1- RuSNs for 150pA current injections. Arrow heads depict same action potential.
