The strong correlation between clinical impairment and distal strength supports the selection of rehabilitative exercises designed to target these muscles. d, Each participant displayed a unique set of impairments as measured by the GRASSP score. The Pearson correlation coefficient between individuals was 0.34 ± 0.35 (mean ± s.d.). The colour represents the degree of function on each of the 25 components of the GRASSP assessment.
