Panels a) and b) illustrate the trends in monthly precipitation based on monthly MSWEP and CHIRPS datasets, respectively, while panels c) and d) present the trends in monthly AED, derived from GLEAM and hPET datasets, respectively. Note that the CHIRPS dataset covers latitudes up to 50°N.
