In the version of this article initially published, in the first paragraph of the Discussion, citation of a recent report showing that aberrant expression of SLAMF6 on human acute myelogenous leukemia cells suppressed T cell activation, an effect that was prevented by a blocking SLAMF6 mAb (Sandén, C. et al. Nat. Cancer https://doi.org/10.1038/s43018-025-01054-6 (2026)), was missing and is now included in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
