Crude chemical capping reactions with varying oligonucleotide counterions (triethylammonium or ammonium) were analyzed by analytical HPLC. Capped/uncapped oligos were fully resolved by using hexylammonium acetate as HPLC aqueous buffer. (b) Scalability of oligo capping.
