Percentages refer to the set of datapoints annotated by HERMES and were detected as a peak by XCMS (see Methods for parameters used). The isotope annotation overlap (a and c) was high, due primarily to M0 annotations. On the other hand, adduct annotation overlap (b and d) was markedly low (<20% of datapoints matched the annotation).
