An example of remapping of the centers of the final subvolumes in three dimensions is shown. b, A schematic of the processing workflow of 32 nm-repeating units of central complex to achieve the subvolume average. Recentering of subvolumes of the central pair complex (every 32 nm) on the doublet 1 is shown. Remapping of these subvolumes helps to trace the trajectory of doublet 1 in three dimensions.
