Preincubated FAT10-Eos (5 µM) and NUB1 (6 µM) were added to hs26S proteasome (2 µM) for 30 s before plunge freezing for Cryo-EM. The further classification of models for the non-processing proteasome is described in Figures E7 and S10. CryoSparc was used for all data processing and ChimeraX for visualization.
