From: CAVD, towards better characterization of void space for ionic transport analysis

The 3D transport channel for Na+ in Na4Zr2(SiO4)3 (icsd_38055). With the help of step (2), the Na+ transport channel with 402 interstices is obtained from the interstitial network with 1,182 interstices. These 402 interstices are then merged with symmetry equivalent (step (3)), and 13 symmetrically distinct interstices are obtained. The symmetrically distinct interstice and bottleneck are labeled as It and Bn, respectively. All interstices and channel segments in channel (see VestaFiles/icsd_38055.vesta in figshare) can be accessed by Na+, but some of them are omitted in the figure for clarity.
