For a given year, the number of living individuals is calculated by summing up all individuals such that \(birth\_date\le year\le death\_date\). When not available, the date of birth (resp. death) is estimated from the estimated average longevity over the period. The following log transformation has been applied to the time axis: \(year\to 8.5-log(2019-year)\).
