Location and topography of Bangladesh. Bangladesh, located between 20°34′–26°38′ N and 88°01′–92°41′ E, covers an area of 147,570 km2. The elevation of the country varies from 0 m in the south to approximately 110 m in the extreme north. Low hills and highlands in the southeast and northeast cover only 10% of the total land.
