pISA-tree information flow between public metadata repositories and R analytical pipelines. Data flow between pISA-tree, R environment and the metadata repositories is represented with blue arrows. Users can acquire pISA-tree metadata for analysis in R using the pisar package. In addition, pisar enables the conversion of metadata into ISA-Tab format to validate using ISA-Tab validator and store together with the archived project data file in public repositories.
