Comparison of the two CPCs. Note that both axes are on a logarithmic scale to cover the wide range of particle number concentrations. The fitted linear regression (not shown because of the logarithmic axes) between the two instrument has a slope of 1.166 (R2 = 0.95). Refer to the caption in Fig. 3 for a description of the color bar. Some data points deviate from the 1:1 line on the 15th of November (bottom right of the point cloud) due to polluted points detected by the CPC3025 and not by the CPC3776 that failed to be identified as such by the PDA.
