Validation of the human mobility data. The Pearson correlation is 0.781, and shows high agreement with census data, showcasing the spatial representativeness of the data. (right) On the city and town level (administrative boundary level 2), the correlation between the mobility data and census population is extremely high, with a Pearson correlation of 0.967.
