Phylogenomic tree of 105 picocyanobacteria MAGs. One hundred and twenty universally conserved single-copy marker genes were used to build maximum-likelihood phylogenomic tree with 1000 bootstrap replicates. Detailed MAG taxonomy assignment and completeness and contamination information are provided in Table S1. In addition, 93 cyanobacterial reference sequences were included in the analysis, as detailed in Supplementary Table S4.
