  1. DNA isolations from the three HG008 samples were performed for distribution to certain laboratories for measurement. Isolated DNA was sent to several sites for genome-scale measurements as described in Table 2. To confirm gDNA was fit for purpose, yield and length of gDNA was measured at different sites prior to use. Sizing and N50 reported are approximated values from three measurement sites. Genomic DNA yield from normal tissues for the separate isolations is noted in parentheses.
