R2 scores of the LSTM network decoding input data (combinations of EMG, FMG, and IMU) of NinaproDB7, NinaproDB7replica, and the MyoKi database into 18 continuous wrist and finger joint angles. The blue circles mark the average scores for each database across participants (applies to the NinaproDB7 and the MyoKi database) or across folds when k-fold cross-validation was applied (applies to NinaproDB7replica). The central line in each box represents the median, the lower and upper edges of the box indicate the 25th and 75th percentiles (interquartile range), and the whiskers extend to the most extreme data points not considered outliers (shown as individual points). Significance bars above the boxes indicate statistically significant differences between conditions (*for p < 0.05, **for p < 0.01), as determined by the appropriate statistical test (paired t-test, independent t-test, or Mann-Whitney U test, depending on data structure and normality). Only significant comparisons are shown.
