Absence of XPC sensitizes cells to AA and MB-induced cell death. Survival rates of cells treated with (A) antimycin A for 4 h or with (B) methylene blue subjected to photoactivation during 30 min. After treatments, individual cells were seeded at 500 cells/plate and allowed to grow to visible colonies. Survival was calculated relative to the plating efficiency of untreated cells. Values represent the mean ± s.e.m. of 4 independent experiments. *p < 0.05 and **p < 0.01.
