Expression of nuclear-encoded mitochondrial genes involved in mitochondrial biogenesis in cells expressing mitochondria-targeted M.SssI. Expression of four mitochondrial genes (mtND1, mtND6, mtCOX1 and mtCYTB) was determined in stable cell lines of C33A (a) or HCT116 (b) cells expressing mitochondria-targeted M.SssI (MLS-M.SssI) or empty vector control (MLS-NoED). Each bar shows the mean ± SEM of three independent experiments.
