Figure 1

Diagnosis-by-genotype interactions on DC. (A) Two-way ANCOVA revealed significant diagnosis-by-genotype interactions on DC in the left superior/middle frontal gyrus (SFG/MFG), right middle temporal gyrus (MTG) extending to the hippocampus (HIP), and right posterior lobe of the cerebellum (PLC). The color bar indicates the statistical significance threshold (Z-score). Multiple comparisons were performed by a combined |z| > 1.96 (P < 0.05) and cluster size > 4,266 mm3, which corresponded to a corrected P < 0.05. (B) The bar graphs illustrate post-hoc pairwise comparisons in the regions showing significant diagnosis-by-genotype interactions. The differences between the ε4 carriers and non-carriers were significant in the aMCI group but not in the HC group. The data were expressed as the mean (M) ± standard error (SE). DC, degree centrality; HC, healthy control; and aMCI, amnestic mild cognitive impairment. N.S., Non-significant. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01.
