Dose rate and Dose equivalent rate ratios. Integrated Dose and Dose equivalent ratios (shielded measurements divided by not shielded measurements) for both Polyethylene (in blue) and Kevlar (in red); Ratio equal to one means that the shield doesn’t produce any reduction. Integration is performed in Linear Energy Transfer (LET) in water from 1.6 keV/µm to 207 keV/µm.
