DNMT-isoform3 not isoform1 localizes to mitochondria. (A) Representative confocal images of H1299 cells showing subcellular localization pattern of exogenously over-expressed DNMT1-isoform1 and 3 with or without any additional localization signal sequence. Nucleus, overexpressed protein and mitochondria were stained with DAPI, Alexa488 and Mitotracker red respectively.
