Predictions of % tumor prevalence for 1-year galactic cosmic ray (GCR) exposures at solar minimum versus aluminum shielding depth in targeted effects (TE) and non-targeted effects (NTE) model. Calculations assume 5 cm of tissue equivalent shielding and explore NTE predictions for several assumptions on the area encompassed by bystander cells susceptible to oncogenic signals from directly traversed cells.
