Ct serovar E infection of ESC results in suboptimal decidualisation of ESC. (A) PRL mRNA is upregulated in response to decidualisation stimulus, whereas it is downregulated in infected decidualised cells compared to uninfected controls (n = 5, One way ANOVA Friedman’s test with Dunn’s multiple comparisons test, p = 0.0009 and 0.0151 respectively).
