Radial distribution functions between water molecules and hydroxyl groups of (a) Hemicellulose (b) LCC (c) Lignin. First peaks at 1.75 Å indicate strong and short-range hydrogen bonds between water molecules and polymer chains. Higher peaks of lignin and LCC at 1.75 Å suggest that larger portion of water molecules interacts with lignin and LCC chains than that of hemicellulose.
