Growth factor concentrations of TGFβ1 and FGF2 comparable to those in PRP elicit similar gene expression profiles in cultured explants. Explants were cultured in medium containing 100 ng ml⁻¹ FGF2 and 10 ng ml⁻¹ TGFβ1 (FT), 10 ng ml⁻¹ TGFβ1 and 17.5 pg ml⁻¹ FGF2 (TFL), or, 10% PRP.
