NQO1 over expression predicted poor prognosis of breast cancer. (A) NQO1 protein expressions in 221 cases of breast cancers were analyzed by IHC, and representative results are shown. (a) NQO1 staining was strongly positive in the breast cancer tissue. (b) NQO1 was strongly positive in the metastatic breast cancer cases. (c) NQO1 staining was negative in the non-metastatic breast cancer tissues. (B) The percentages of breast cancer tissues exhibiting negative, moderately positive and strongly positive of NQO1 expression in breast cancer tissues was calculated. (C) The relationships between NQO1 expression and the clinicopathologically significant aspects of breast cancer.
