Coral species (A) Acropora muricata, (B) Isopora palifera and (C) Pocillopora damicornis utilized in this study. The pink portion of the skeleton is the result of the Alizarin Red dye being incorporated into the skeleton from staining and the white portion is the newly accreted skeleton.
