Influence of stimulated endothelial cell culture supernatants and concentrated pellets on a chromogenic assay for the detection of vesicle-bound active tissue factor TF activity was measured in study samples. Supernatants from ECs from at least two different donors that were stimulated with TNF-α for 24 h were collected and subjected to centrifugation steps as illustrated in Fig. 1.
