The protein expression levels of NOX4, NF-kappaB, JNK and the PI3K/AKT signalling pathway on femur. Nox4 (A), levels of phosphorylation of p65 (B), levels of phosphorylation of JNK (C) and levels of phosphorylation of AKT (D) were detected by western blotting. Data were the means ± SD (n = 6 for each group). # p < 0.05 and ## p < 0.01 compared with the SHAM group. *p < 0.05 and **p < 0.01 compared with the DEX group. GAPDH was used as loading control.
