Distribution of DAPI-positive EPCs. Seven days after tail vein transplantation of EPCs, several DAPI-positive EPCs were detected in the TBI zone, and few DAPI-positive EPCs were detected in the contralateral hemisphere. DAPI-positive cells were significantly higher in the ipsilateral hemisphere as compared to the contralateral hemisphere (P < 0.05).
