From: Defining thresholds of sustainable impact on benthic communities in relation to fishing disturbance

Map of the experimental area located within Cardigan Bay SAC, Wales, UK. Each site consisted of two turning zones and a fishing corridor in between. Sites are numbered in increasing order of designated fishing intensity (See Table 1). Sampling locations (+) for grabs and lines for trawls are shown for the September 2014 survey. The 6 nautical mile limit separates two distinct management zones in Wales. Within 6 nm, only vessels towing less than four dredges a side were allowed to operate, whereas the offshore sites could be fished with up to 7 dredges a side (created with ArcGIS 10.5, http://www.esri.com/).
