Mechanisms of anti-metastatic effect of PAM. ROS in PAM diffuses into ES2 cells and down-regulats MMP-9 expression via inhibiting of MAPK pathway, supressing cancer cell adhesion, migration and invasion onto mesothelial cells lining the peritoneal cavity. Finally, PAM prevents intraperitoneal metastasis.
