Haemagglutination assay. Lectin concentration is shown in μg/mL. Mitsuba-1 (top row) showed no lytic effect on the red cells at any concentration tested, up to 50 μg/mL. MytiLec-1 (bottom row) showed agglutination at concentrations down to 0.1~0.2 μg/mL.
