Incidence rate ratios of violent crime rates as a function of ambient temperature in Finland. Data were fitted by using a Poisson regression model with restricted cubic splines of 5 knots. The reference value of temperature is 0 °C. The increase per degree centigrade is 1.7% (95% CI 1.1 to 2.4).
