Platelet function on VWF is reduced during pregnancy. Blood from 21 pregnant females in the third trimester of pregnancy and 21 healthy non-pregnant female controls were perfused over VWF at arterial shear rates. Platelet function on VWF was measured using the dynamic platelet function assay. Pregnant females showed a significant reduction in platelet function on VWF (*p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 and ***p < 0.0001). Data are presented as mean ± 95% confidence interval.
