Values are means ± SEM for 7–8 rats (6 cells are analysed for each rat) and were analysed by two-way ANOVA (AAV injection: F 1,27 = 5.196 p = 0.0308; treatment: F 1,27 = 4.014 p = 0.0552; AAV injection x treatment: F 1,27 = 16.91 p < 0.001) followed by Tukey multiple comparison test (*p < 0.05; **p < 0.01; ***p < 0.001 to A53T vehicle).
