(a) Schematic of the experimental setup and three topologically different surfaces were investigates as: planar surface (I), square surface (II) and sinusoidal surface (III). (b) Output voltage and (c) current versus stretching-releasing deformation strain of 0.5% at 4 hz. The topologically tailored devices (I/II/III) can stably produce about average output voltage 2 V/3.5 V/4 V and output current 50 nA/70 nA/100 nA, respectively during the cyclic deformation.
