From: The Oxygen Reduction Reaction Rate of Metallic Nanoparticles during Catalyzed Oxidation
SEM images of samples where Ti, Cr, Ni, Rh, Cu, Pd, Ag, and Au were used as catalysts for nanowire growth at 600 °C and 100 ppm O2. Ti and Cr catalyst did not produce nanowires. The image in the lower right shows a TEM image of a nanowire along with electron diffraction inset.
