Both compounds 21 and 24 showed a strong and an intermediate inhibitory potential of CYP2D6, respectively, in graph (A), whereby only resveratrol (24) inhibited the detection reaction to a considerable amount as can be seen in graph (B). As the detection reaction is part of the P450-Glo CYP2D6 inhibition assay, it is necessary to ensure that the compounds do not interfere with this reaction. Shown is the mean with range of triplicate measurements of two different experimental days.
